Al Shire hails from Houston, TX where he was born & raised since 1977. Al played in several Houston bands starting in 1991 (at 14 years old) till graduating high school and moving to Austin in 1995 to further take over the music world!

Since then, Al has played with such bands as Under the Influence, LJ All Stars, One Point Style, Radio Failure, Watching the Moon, Deguello, Uncle Lucius, RAZR 13, The Inverters, Greedy Parker & The Cervix Industry just to name a few aside from his own solo material.

The son of two professional journalists (RIP), Al tackles his latest endeavor interviewing up & coming bands for the forthcoming show “180 Seconds with Al Shire”
